Rehab Product Specialist

Description/Job Summary

Sales and market share growth through relationship building, product education, business strategy development, and support for Quantum and Pride Providers and Rehab Facilities within an assigned geographical area and account base 

Responsibilities/Duties

•Develop strong rehab respect and presence within the Rehab Community to ensure Quantum products are at the forefront of the assigned geographical area

•Achieve revenue goals and sales quotas

•Relationship management which includes business meetings, product education, and demo facilitation for Quantum and Pride providers and Rehab Facilities

•Establish strong clinical respect and presence with therapists and decision makers at Rehab Facilities that use Quantum products

•Establish strategic action plans for assigned geographical area to ensure Quantum products hold the majority market share within each facility

•Work effectively with all Quantum/Pride departments to exceed sales goals expectations and ensure adequate Quantum saturation within all Rehab Facilities/Referral Sources
•Identify Unrealized Sales Opportunities (USO’s) for all business lines (especially Quantum) within assigned account base and referral sources
•Strategic travel/call rotation to build and maintain relationships with Pride and Quantum providers and Rehab Facilities on a consistent basis

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

•Work closely with Rehab Professionals and Clinicians on daily mobility assessments for rehab clients
•Demonstrate and troubleshoot product, and build strong relationships with Pride and Quantum Providers and Rehab Facilities
• Lift 50 lbs
•Travel overnight, drive extensively, and fulfill after-hours requirements, as necessary

Must have:
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•Basic knowledge of the clinician’s role in equipment considerations, and the decision-making process in rehab facility systems

•Excellent web navigation skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Excellent presentation, public speaking and training skills

Preferred Skills

•Excellent working knowledge of seating, positioning and equipment considerations for the “common” diagnosis in the rehab community as it applies to Quantum/Pride products preferred
•Intermediate knowledge and understanding of clinical diagnosis terminology preferred
•Advanced knowledge of the clinician’s role in equipment considerations, and the decision-making process in rehab facility systems preferred

Required Experience

•Previous experience with rehab equipment sales, service and/or patient evaluations

Preferred Experience

•At least 2 years of business-to-business field sales or industry experience in a Rehabilitation and/or Clinical setting preferred

•Previous experience in direct client contact during mobility evaluations and equipment considerations preferred

•Previous experience on a decision making team during client mobility evaluations and equipment considerations preferred

Required Education

•Associate’s Degree in a Health Care related field or equivalent experience in the Rehab industry

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree, certification, and/or credentials in Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT) preferred
•Assistive Technology Provider (ATP) Certification preferred
